What is it about breakfast that makes it just a little more special than lunch and dinner? Is it the belief that breakfast is the most important meal of the day? On workdays, breakfast can be a quick bite running out the door, or a meal picked up at a drive-through window—definitely not ideal for a meal that holds such a valuable place in our day.
But when you are on vacation, breakfast, and brunch can feel indulgent. Slowly starting the day by sitting at a table with friends or family is not something that many people can do Monday through Friday. And when you vacation in Naples, Florida, breakfast is not an extravagance—it is essential. Before putting a line in fish-filled waters, swimming in the sparkling gulf, or a day strolling through the many shops on Fifth Avenue South, fueling up on savory eggs benedict or freshly made waffles, all with a rasher of crisp bacon, is almost required.
Naples is brimming with a plethora of activities, so it is no wonder that this town on Florida’s Paradise Coast is replete with a wide range of restaurants that serve breakfast and brunch. Whether you are an early riser or you like to sleep late, we have a list of our favorite spots that will undoubtedly make for a great beginning to what’s ahead for a day in Naples.
